Photo Announcement. Another Vivo iQOO Z6 5G for China - Mobile News World - Helpix

Today in China, Vivo announced its new smartphones Vivo iQOO Z6x and Vivo iQOO Z6 5G China (not to be confused with Indian namesake). This news is about the older device, about Z6. And you can read about the second smartphone here.

Stupid dances of marketers continue. The first iQOO Z6 (and also with support for 5G networks) was introduced in India back in the spring. And he doesn’t look like a Chinese namesake at all.

Perhaps the closest to the Chinese Z6 is another native Chinese Vivo Y77 5G. But closeness is...Different chipsets, different cameras. But the appearance, screen and batteries of the devices are the same.

To the characteristics.

Uncommon Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset. Powerful, although you still can’t attribute it to the flagship ones. In AnTuTu we are waiting for 600 thousand points. Or even a little more if you're lucky.

There is a lot of memory. 8 or 12 GB operational, 128 or 256 GB permanent. And the memory is fast. Apparently, there is no support for memory cards.

The screen boasts a refresh rate as high as 120Hz. Everything else is average. Big, 6.64" (107 cm²)). High resolution, 1080x2388 (395 ppi).

The battery is not the most capacious, only 4500 mAh. But charging is ultra-fast - 80 watts. Charges your smartphone from zero to half in 10 minutes. (Like many other ultra-fast charging smartphones, it actually uses two half-capacity 2250 mAh batteries.)

The set of cameras doesn't look very impressive. The front camera has a resolution of 8 MP. There are three rear cameras, but this is only 64 + 2 + 2 MP - i.e. the main module and two little-useful additions to it. But suddenly the main camera has optical stabilization.

The "Other" section is fine. There is an NFC module. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side. And even a standard audio output - and that is available. Here's what's missing again - it's the LTE bands you and I need.

About money. Strongly greedy did not. ¥1699 (₽14800, $247), ¥1899 (₽16600, $276) and ¥2099 (₽18300, $306) at launch for 8+128, 8+256 and 12+256 GB varieties respectively.
