Photo Announcement. BQ 6868L Wide is a large but modest smartphone. But why is it "wide"?

The times when our native company BQ released really curious smartphones to the world, unfortunately, have passed. Now they specialize in state employees. And BQ 6868L Wide is one of those. Cute. Perhaps even quite reasonable (but the price is still unknown, so it's too early to draw conclusions). But, alas and ah, quite simple.

Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with imported languages. Perhaps the English word "Wide" has some other meanings. Because why on earth our smartphone was called "Wide" is categorically incomprehensible to me. Width is perfect standard.

Briefly about the characteristics.

Chipset Unisoc Tiger T310. The very strange quad-core, in which one of the cores is productive. We expect 140-150 thousand points in AnTuTu.

Not much memory. 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. Support for memory cards is available.

The screen is large, 6.8" (112 cm²), but the resolution is small, only 720x1600 (258 ppi). Of course, there are no increased refresh rates.

The battery is also not outstanding. Modest 4000 mAh. The charging speed is not specified.

The front camera has a resolution of 8 MP. Situation with With the help of cameras is incomprehensible. Judging by the pictures, there are three of them. But on the official website only one is reported - 13 MP. Either the other two eyes are just stubs, or the page was laid out carelessly.

Other. There is no NFC module. The fingerprint scanner is located on the back. From the very sad - the ancient Micro-USB and single-band Wi-Fi.

We are waiting for information about the cost.

07/06/2022 Supplement

Suddenly it turned out that the smartphone has an older version with more memory, 4+64 GB. Plus there was information about the cost. ₽7990 ($149) and ₽8490 ($158) for the minor and major versions, respectively.
