Photo Announcement. Cubot KingKong 6 - a simple armored smartphone

Cubot has some illogicality with the numbering of King Kongs. By the current time already exist KingKong 1, KingKong 3, KingKong 5 and KingKong 7. That is, only odd numbers. Moreover, the fifth and seventh appeared on sale a year ago. And now this is how the devil comes out of the snuffbox Cubot KingKong 6. Even number. Yes, and smaller than the largest of the odd ones. And now who will be next? KingKong 4, KingKong 8 or KingKong 9? Place your bets.

To the point. Cubot KingKong 6 is a typical inexpensive armored smartphone. Traditionally drawn IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810G. There is no list of tests passed. As usual, we believe that a smartphone can be bathed a little and dropped quite a bit.

The chipset is only a quad-core (but the fastest and quad-core) - Unisoc Tiger T310. If you're lucky - in AnTuTu and under two hundred thousand parrots maybe. Well, if you're not lucky - only a little over a hundred thousand.

Memory. Well, so-so. Average. 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. There is support for memory cards, but the tray is hybrid.

The screen is quite small by today's standards. And lately I don't see muching. Diagonal 6.09 "(91 cm²). The resolution, however, is quite reasonable for such dimensions, 720x1560 (282 ppi).

The battery is good, 5000 mAh. Nothing is said about the charging speed.

The cameras are simple. 8 MP front, 16 + 0.3 MP rear.

There is an NFC module, a fingerprint scanner, a gyroscope, dual-band Wi-Fi and Type-C. What about the standard audio output is unclear. Android is stale, only eleventh.

The smartphone page has already appeared on AliExpress. The current price is $129.99 (₽8900), the estimated delivery time is October 25th. Is this price final or packcomes on the starting sale, it's hard to say. But the inscription on the picture "Coming Soon" clearly hints at the fact that it is better not to hurry with the purchase.
