Doogee continues to work on armored smartphones.

Announcement of smartphones Doogee S61 and Doogee S61 Pro was greatly dispersed in time and space. And these devices still do not have full-fledged pages on the official website. But, in general, the picture has finally taken shape, so it's time to tell you about the new products.

In short, we have compact rugged smartphones. Low-power, but with a decent amount of memory and capacious batteries. And even with night cameras.

The older model differs from the younger one in a large number ofyour permanent memory, more serious cameras and body materials. And Doogee S61 Pro looks, of course, more interesting. The first option - "under the tree" ("Wood Grain"), the second - partially transparent ("Transparent").

Protection. Everything is traditional here. The cherished abbreviations IP68, IP69K, MIL-STD-810H are listed. As usual, this means that smartphones are not afraid of water and are slightly shockproof. But I would not risk dropping them from a height of one and a half meters onto stones (as in the picture). Glasses will be broken anyway.

We saved on chipsthose. Formally, the MediaTek Helio G35 chip is classified as a gaming chip, which Doogee actively presses on in advertising devices. Don't believe. One hundred thousand points in AnTuTu, even with a small tail, is completely frivolous by gaming standards. The level of frankly budget devices.

Memory. And here everything is wonderful. Already 6 GB of RAM. Permanent memory - 64 GB for the younger model and 128 GB for the older one. Plus, there is support for memory cards (whether the tray is hybrid or not).

The battery is also fine, its capacity is 5180 mAh. But there is no high-speed charging.

Screen to modernsmall by modern standards, six inches (93 cm²). Plus the proportions are old. The resolution is low, 720x1440, but on such a diagonal it gives 268 dpi, which is quite tolerable. The protective glass Gorilla Glass of an incomprehensible generation was promised.

The front cameras are 8 MP for the S61 and 16 MP for the S61 Pro.

There are two rear cameras. The main one has a resolution of 48 MP for the older model and 20 MP for the younger one. The second camera is the same, night, with infrared illumination (four diodes). Resolution - 20 MP. With the location of the flashes, everything is unclear. As you can see, nightnaya chamber is surrounded by a ring of something like that. Either infrared diodes and ordinary ones are mixed there, or the artist forgot to draw something - it's hard to say.

Other. There is an NFC module and a side fingerprint scanner. How many bands Wi-Fi has, it is not clear. Theoretically, the chip supports the fifth Wi-Fi, but not all smartphones based on it for some reason use this support. There is also no clarity about USB. I hope it's still Type-C, but I'm not sure.

What about the prices... Apparently, after the launch sale, the devices will cost $179 (₽13,100) and $199(₽14500) respectively. Well, at the start they promise "Up To $70 Limited Offer". Which, apparently, means the maximum possible discount. Or not? The start of sales is scheduled for July 25, the page on AliExpress already available.
