Photo Announcement. Doogee V Max 5G - smart armored car smartphone with a record battery (+ comparison with competitors)

Doogee has finally published the almost complete specification of its record-breaking Doogee V Max smartphone. Time to get acquainted.

Doogee V Max

I have to admit. It turned out to be a very impressive device. The main thing is not to drop it on your foot, because I’m sure that it weighs more than half a kilogram (yeah, for some reason, not a word about weight in the performance characteristics). And so - everything is with him. Good iron, excellent screen. Well, the battery - there's nothing to say. A fairy tale, not a battery.

22000 mAh. It's like six Galaxy S22 combined. I know of only two smartphones with similar batteries.

The first one is Unihertz Tank, which has exactly the same battery.

Unihertz Tank

And the second one is the previously announced Oukitel WP19 - its battery has a capacity of 21000 mAh. (Honestly speaking, that 21 thousand, that 22 thousand - the difference here is within the rounding error).

Oukitel WP19

Charging V Max is medium speed, 33W. (Tank charges twice as fast, WP19 has the same 33W).

As you can easily guess by its appearance, Doogee V Max is a secure smartphone. (Like its competitors, of course). Traditionally declared IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H. Those. can be safely submerged in water. But I still wouldn't recommend dropping it. Here's what's useful - the operating temperature range is from -55°C to 70°C. You still won’t take it to the bathhouse, but in winter there shouldn’t be any problems on the street.

Doogee V Max

Iron. Here Doogee V Max is beyond competition. MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset supporting 5G networks. We are waiting for half a million parrots in AnTuTu. (In Tank there is a fresh Helio G99 chip, in WP19 - an older Helio G95. Both will score around 350 thousand points and both do not have 5G support).

Memory. Here the Chinese are not greedy. 12+256 GB (plus supportmemory cards) for V Max, 8+256 GB for both of its competitors.

The screens of all three smartphones are large and slightly different. But Doogee is ahead of the pack with a higher refresh rate.

Cameras. An amazing thing. All three smartphones have identical night cameras with infrared illumination. Plus, the main cameras Doogee and Unihertz have quite solid (and very multi-megapixel) sensors.

Other. Everything is classic here and everything is good for everyone. Type-C, side fingerprint scanner, NFC module. The only thing that makes the Doogee V Max stand out is the sixth Wi-Fi.

And about money.

The

Doogee V Max will only go on sale on February 13th. Page on AliExpress already, but without the price. Like, put it in a basket - and you will be happy. In the store at the website they write about $579.99 (₽40400). I would like, of course, a little cheaper.

Unihertz Tank can be bought on Ali for $299.99 (₽21800) (one, two, three).

WP19 a little cheaper, but purely symbolically - $289.99 (₽21100) (one, two).
