Photo Announcement. Doogee V11 5G is a rugged smartphone with ultra-fast charging

Doogee seems to have picked up a bit of momentum by the middle of the year. Announcement follows announcement. Today's news is about Doogee V11 5G armored car. In terms of iron - a calm middle class without pretensions, but with an infrared thermometer. And with a weak screen, to everything else. But somewhere you need to show off - one thermometer at the present time will not be enough. So we put in a very capacious battery, and even provided it with ultra-fast charging.

Actually, the charging speed seems to be the only difference between Doogee V11 5G and the pastYear model Doogee V10 5G. Otherwise, as far as I can tell, they are exact twins. Even Android has not been updated, still the same eleventh version.

Protection. Everything here is in the best Chinese traditions. They promise IP68 and even IP69K (hot pressurized water) standards. They swear it's shockproof. Reported to have passed a number of MIL-STD-810G tests (solar radiation, low pressure, acid exposure). It is allowed to take pictures underwater. (Only if the water is salty, do not forget to rinse the smartphone duringfresh water).

The chipset is the super popular MediaTek Dimensity 700. Typical modern middle class. Smartphones based on it usually give out more than three hundred thousand points in the ninth AnTuTu (although there are annoying exceptions).

There is a lot of memory. 8 GB operational, 128 GB permanent. There is support for memory cards, but the tray is hybrid.

The screen is the weak link. So to speak. Moderately weak. A resolution of 720x1560 on a diagonal of 6.39" (100 cm²) gives only 269 dpi. Of course, I would like a little more.

The set of cameras is simple. Front camera with a resolution of 16 M. Behind the trio 48 + 8 + 2 MP - the main module, wide-angle, depth sensor. An infrared thermometer is located on one island with cameras. They promise an accuracy of 0.2 degrees. Hard to believe.

The battery is huge. 8500 mAh On the one hand, this is, of course, good ... On the other, not very good. A large battery plus protection add up to a very inhumane weight. 340 grams. The charging speed is huge - as much as 65 W (against the relatively modest 33 W of the ancestor). Suddenly, there is also wireless charging, but not fast, only 10 watts.

Other. There is support for 5G networks, there is NFC-module. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side. Nothing is said about the presence of a gyroscope.

The page Doogee V11 has already appeared in the official Doogee store on AliExpress. The price there is still inhumane, $512 (₽38,400). There is no information about the launch sale yet. But, judging by the fact that Doogee V10 is now available for $265 (₽19900), I suspect that the starting price for a new smartphone should be around $300 (₽22500) .
