In the middle of last summer, Huawei announced a couple of smartphones Huawei nova 10 and Huawei nova 10 Pro. Initially, the devices appeared only in China, but then they began to be sold in other countries, including here in Russia.

And now a couple of close relatives for these Huaweis have appeared in China. The name is newbies Hi nova 10 and Hi nova 10 Pro. There is only one difference (besides the inscription on the case). Huawei smartphones are deprived of support for 5G networks due to sanctions. And Hi nova smartphones have this support.

About the characteristics.

Chips�� very decent. Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. We are waiting for 500-550 thousand points in AnTuTu.

8 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB of permanent storage. No memory card support.

OLED screens with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Judging by the pictures, pretty curved at the edges. The dimensions are impressive. 6.67" (107 cm²) for Hi nova 10 and 6.78" (111 cm²) for Firmware. Resolution 1080x2400 (395 ppi) and 1200x2652 (429 ppi) respectively.

The front cameras have a completely indecent resolution of 60 MP. nova 10 Pro has an additional 8MP portrait camera.

The set of rear cameras is pretty goodAmazing, 50 + 8 + 2 MP - main, wide-angle, and depth sensor. However, the main camera here is with an RYYB sensor. Perhaps we are talking about the Sony IMX700 sensor, which is used, in particular, in the Huawei P40 and its close relatives.

Batteries are not too big by today's standards. 4000 mAh for the younger device and 4500 mAh for the older one. But super-fast charging. 66 and 100 W respectively.

Other. There is NFC, the sixth Wi-Fi, Type-C. There is no standard audio output. What 5G/LTE frequencies are supported, the manufacturer did not specify.

About money.

Hi nova 10 at the startsales will cost ¥2899 (₽24300, $397) and ¥3199 (₽26800, $438) for the 8+128 and 8+256 GB versions, respectively.

Hi nova 10 Pro is noticeably more expensive. ¥3699 (₽31000, $506) and ¥3999 (₽33500, $547) for the same varieties.
