Photo Announcement. Honor X6 - a simple low-power smartphone

Honor announced today its brand new smartphone Honor X6. The device is announced "globally". It will definitely be sold in South Africa, Saudi Arabia... Yes, in many places, most likely.

What is curious, Honor X6 is made exactly in the same case as Honor X8 5G announced in summer. Identical appearance, identical screens and batteries, similar sets of cameras. But, of course, this couple cannot be called twins.

To close the topic with relatives and namesakes, let's also mention the almost eponymous tablet Honor Pad X6. Understandably, neitherwhat it does not and cannot have in common with our smartphone. They are just named the same. Well... it happens.

To the characteristics.

The chipset is a sore spot, a weak link. MediaTek Helio G25. In AnTuTu it will be around one hundred thousand points.

Memory. 4 GB operational, 64 or 128 GB permanent. Plus there is support for memory cards.

The screen has a diagonal of 6.5" (102 cm²). The resolution is low, 720x1600 (270 ppi). There is no increased refresh rate.

The battery is good, 5000 mAh. But fast charging (unlike the same Honor X8 5G) is not here. 10 W, no more.

Camera set pthe tallest. 5 MP front, 50+2+2 MP rear.

There is an NFC module, but, apparently, not in all regions. Side fingerprint scanner. Type-C and dual-band Wi-Fi are present.

How much Honor X6 will cost is still unknown.
