Honor has unveiled its latest smartphone, the Honor X9a. The device has been announced for the MEA (Middle East and Africa) region, and is also expected in Malaysia. Perhaps it will appear in other countries.

About relatives.

• The newcomer does not look like a namesake Honor X9 5G either externally or internally. Unless the chipsets are the same.
• The closest thing to Honor X9a is Honor X40 sold in China. The difference is only in the set of cameras. Otherwise, everything is identical, including appearance and dimensions.

Honor X40

The chipset is the well-known Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, so we expect about 400 thousand points in AnTuTu.

Memory. 6 or 8 GB of RAM (the X40 also has a 12 GB variant). Permanent memory 128 or 256 GB. Apparently, there is no support for memory cards.

The screen is a ten-bit AMOLED with a diagonal of 6.67" (107 cm²). Judging by the pictures, it is strongly rounded on the sides. The resolution is standard, 1080x2400 (395 ppi). The screen refresh rate is up to 120 Hz (not dynamic, no).Hora - generally 360 Hz.

The battery capacity is slightly above the average for the hospital - 5100 mAh. Charging is fast, but not excessive - 40W.

Cameras. The front has a resolution of 16 MP (against 8 MP for X40). There are three rear cameras - 64 + 5 + 2 MP - main, wide-angle, macro. (X40 has two cameras, 50+2 MP).

Other. NFC-module, apparently, will not be in all countries. There is no standard audio output. There is support for 5G networks, Type-C and dual-band Wi-Fi. The fingerprint scanner is built into the screen.
