Huawei announced smartphones in its native Chinese market Huawei nova 10 and Huawei nova 10 Pro. The pro version is slightly larger, it has a slightly more powerful charge and has an additional front camera. But, in general, the devices are very close.

In general, a strange couple turned out. Powerful enough, though not flagship hardware, top screens, insane charging. Some absolutely breathtaking front cameras. But there is no support for 5G networks. And the rearNew cameras do not inspire much optimism. There is no optical stabilization. Although the quality ... Who knows. Maybe good.

And Huawei keeps doing weird stuff on the spec pages. You may remember that for some of their latest models they didn't list the chipset name. The chipset was immediately named, but the amount of RAM was not indicated. According to information from Chinese stores, it seems to be 8 GB here. But it is not exactly. Permanent memory 128 or 256 GB. No memory card support.
The chipset is very decent. Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G with bitten off support for 5G networks (which is actually there initially). We are waiting for 500-550 thousand points in AnTuTu.
OLED screens with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Judging by the pictures, pretty curved at the edges. The dimensions are impressive. 6.67" (107 cm²) for nova 10 and 6.78" (111 cm²) for firmware. Resolution 1080x2400 (395 ppi) and 1200x2652 (429 ppi) respectively.
The front cameras have a completely indecent resolution of 60 MP. nova 10 Pro has an additional 8MP portrait camera.
The set of rear cameras is rather trivial, 50 + 8 + 2 MP - main, widenaked, yes depth sensor. However, judging by the pictures, the main camera here is with an RYYB sensor. Perhaps we are talking about the Sony IMX700 sensor, which is used, in particular, in the Huawei P40 and its close relatives. But this is inaccurate.
Batteries are not too big by today's standards. 4000 mAh for the younger device and 4500 mAh for the older one. But super-fast charging. 66 and 100 W respectively.
Other. There is NFC, the sixth Wi-Fi, Type-C. There is no standard audio output. What LTE frequencies are supported, the manufacturer did not specify.
About money.
Huawei nova 10 at launchIt will cost ¥2699 (₽23200, $431) and ¥2999 (₽25800, $479) for the 8+128GB and 8+256GB versions, respectively.
Huawei nova 10 Pro is a thousand yuan more expensive. ¥3699 (₽31800, $591) and ¥3999 (₽34400, $639) for the same varieties.
