Announcement. Kyocera Kantan Sumaho3 - a smartphone for Japanese senior citizens - now with 5G!

Kyocera has seriously updated its Japanese "pensioner" smartphone. If last year's Kyocera Kantan Sumaho2+ was frankly weak and simply indecent by modern standards, then the new Kyocera Kantan Sumaho3 is already very good.
Small linguistic digression. The original name of the smartphone is かんたんスマホ3. Which in Latin transcription gives Kyocera Kantan Sumaho3. If we try to translate these hieroglyphs, we get Kyocera Easy smartphone3. Those. light (simple) smartphone number three.
The simplicity of this smartphone is exceptionalVery soft. Simplified interface. Large clear icons. Like everything. Otherwise, we have a completely modern smartphone. Small. 5G-enabled and IP68 water and dust resistant, traditional for Eastern Islanders. (You can wash with soap, wipe with alcohol and stuff like that).
An interesting moment. As the main feature of the smartphone, a fitness application is being promoted. Like "we'll support your walking habit." Step counter, distance traveled, calories burned analysis, prizes for reaching goals. Well, the truth is - how elsetell a Japanese elderly person to move more between points A and B? There is nowhere without virtual nishtyakov. (Seriously, it’s a good and right thing, of course. If you don’t kick it, it won’t fly).
Briefly about common smartphone features. Kyocera Kantan Sumaho3 is made on the same platform as other fresh smartphones from Kyocera (Android One S10, Digno SX3). The same screen and hardware, similar batteries and cameras. Although the appearance, of course, is different. The pictures clearly show that Sumaho3 has rare physical buttons under the screen.
The chipset is the good old MediaTek Dimensity 700 (300-350 thousand points in AnTuTu). RAM - 4 GB, permanent - 64 GB. There is support for memory cards.
The screen is compact, only 6.1" (90 cm²). The resolution for such a diagonal is simply excellent - 1080x2400 (431 ppi). There is no increased refresh rate.
Battery medium, 4500 mAh. I didn’t see any information about the charging speed.
That's what's strange - very simple cameras. Only 8 MP front and 16 MP rear. Perhaps I don’t know something about Japanese pensioners, but our pensioners really love taking pictures.
YesThere is an NFC module, but there is no fingerprint scanner. There are Type-C, dual-band Wi-Fi, eSIM support.
How much Kyocera Kantan Sumaho3 will cost is still unclear.
