Announcement. Motorola Moto G Play (2023) - just a simple smartphone for the Far Abroad
The Moto G Play (2023) smartphone is presented in the Far Abroad. Formally, we can assume that we have before us the successor of the Moto G Play (2021) model. The chipset was replaced (with a more modern, but slower one). Raised the screen refresh rate. Changed the set of cameras and appearance. What remains the same? Well... Batteries.
In fact, the Moto G Play (2023) is much more similar to the Moto E32s sold in Europe and India. The only difference is the charging speed. Yes, the front camera of the American is a little worse - only 5 MP versus 8 MP for Moto E32s. Well, the appearance is differentIt seems - so, just a little bit.
The chipset is weak, MediaTek Helio G37. We are waiting for one hundred thousand points with a small tail in AnTuTu. All in all. (The previous G Play had a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chip - about 150 thousand points).
Memory. It's also very modest. 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. Support for memory cards, of course, is.
The screen diagonal is 6.5" (102 cm²). The resolution is low, only 720x1600 (270 ppi). But the refresh rate is slightly increased, up to 90 Hz.
The battery is good, 5000 mAh. Charging is slow, only 10W (versus 15W for Moto E32s).
Screen camera setohm. The front has a resolution of 5 MP. On the rear side there is a trio 16 + 2 + 2 MP.
There is no NFC module, there is no support for 5G networks. There is dual-band Wi-Fi and Type-C. The fingerprint scanner is located on the back.
I don't see any official information about the cost yet. But in the news, everyone confidently writes about $169.99 (₽10600).
