HMD Global has decided that smartphones are supposed to last a long time. Here, on the example of the recently announced Nokia G60 5G on Knowledge Day, this is clearly seen. Three times three. Three years of operating system updates - i.e. from Android 12 to Android 15. Three years of monthly security updates. And - unprecedented generosity - a three-year warranty.

What else is interesting. Another ode to recycled plastic. The back cover of the device is 100% made of it. And 60% - the frame, the base. Well, yes. This is not the X-series. There, also announced today Nokia X30 5G, not redesignedth plastic, but recycled aluminum.

About the characteristics. Before us is a rather modest middle class.

The chipset is not bad, it's Qualcomm Snapdragon 695. Those. in AnTuTu we are waiting for about 400 thousand points.

Not a lot of memory. 4 or 6 GB operational, 64 or 128 GB permanent. Support for memory cards is available.

Screen. Raspberries, of course, are slightly spoiled by the obsolete teardrop neckline. But everything else is good. IPS matrix. 6.58" diagonal (104 cm²). Standard high resolution 1080x2408 (401 ppi). Plus high refresh rate - up to 120 Hz.

Average batteryEtical, 4500 mAh. Supports charging up to 20W. (It, however, seems to have to be purchased separately).

Unlike the already mentioned Nokia X30 5G, the set of cameras here is much simpler. No optical stabilization. The front camera has a resolution of 8 MP. There are three rear cameras - 50 + 5 + 2 MP - main, wide-angle and depth sensor. The official specification lists the size of the main sensor as 1/2.67". I suspect this is a typo. And it should be 1/2.76". In any case, the sensor is simple and small.

Other. There is an NFC module, a side fingerprint scanner, Type-C and sixth Wi-Fi. eSIMs supported.

Prices. In different European countries, for version 4 + 128 GB they want from €329.99 (₽19900, $330) (Spain) to €359.99 (₽21700, $360) (France). The older version 6 + 128 GB is not available everywhere. Where there is - it costs twenty more. The younger version 4+64 GB is nowhere to be seen.
