Photo Announcement. Nokia X30 5G is an eco-friendly smartphone, i.e. from waste

HMD Global announced today at IFA 2022 three smartphones, one tablet, something else. Their published press releases are typical bullshit bingo. On the official sites of information about devices - the mouse cried. Nevertheless, in the news in all serious publications there are exact sizes, prices, and supported ranges. In short, everything. Either normal press releases with specifications were sent to whoever needed it, or materials were handed out at the exhibition. Don't know. As usual, there are some small inconsistencies and contradictions, well, yeswhat to do.

Let's start with the Nokia X30 5G smartphone. Its main feature is that everything that is possible is made from recycled material. ("Who sells a secondary product...") E. Yes, my previous news was also about the same. The theme seems to be getting insanely trendy.

In short. The aluminum body parts are made from 100% recycled aluminium. The body plastic is made from 65% recycled plastic. Well, the box is made from recycled paper. For completeness of happiness, there is no charger included in the package. Take careNature - so on a grand scale!

Enough about Greenpeace, let's talk about performance.

The mid-range chipset is Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, so you can hope to get about 400 thousand points in AnTuTu. Normal middle class. 6 or 8 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB of permanent memory. There is support for memory cards, but the tray seems to be hybrid. It is curious that in the older version of 8 + 256 GB they promise to install faster UFS 3.0 flash memory. And in the younger - only UFS 2.2.

The screen is a classic. True, not for HMD. For the AMOLED screen, and their Nokia smartphones have not been around for a hundred years. Diagonal -6.43" (100 cm²). Good high resolution - 1080x2400 (409 ppi). Refresh rate slightly increased to 90 Hz. And, of course, the fingerprint scanner is built into the screen.

The battery is modest, only 4200 mAh. But charging is accelerated, 33 W.

Cameras. Here are the good guys. They didn't show off. There are only two rear cameras. But the first one is at 50 MP and with optical stabilization, and the second one is not some kind of depth sensor, but a normal width with a resolution of 13 MP. And, no. The main sensor here is not a super-budget JN1, but something more decent. What exactly - maybe we'll find out a little latere.

The front camera has a resolution of 16 MP, I can’t say anything interesting about it.

Other. There is an NFC module, a sixth Wi-Fi, Type-C and even an IR blaster.

Price. The price is biting. In fact, the numbers flash a little different. Most of all, it seems true that at the start of sales in Europe, the device will cost €499 (₽30,000, $499) and €529 (₽31,900, $529) for versions 6 + 128 and 8 + 256 GB, respectively. But this is inaccurate.
