Announcement. Onyx Boox Nova Air 2 - update of the medium-sized reader
Another novelty from Onyx is the medium-sized reader Onyx Boox Nova Air 2. Announced "globally". It will definitely be sold in Russia. Among the recently announced four models in China, it has no close relatives.
Very similar to the Onyx Boox Nova Air reader announced just over a year ago. The differences are:
- Software has been updated. Was Android 10, became Android 11.
- The hardware has been updated. Was Snapdragon 636, became Snapdragon 662. (Presumably. Officially, the brand of the chip is not named).
- There were only speakers. Now a microphone has been added to them.
- eleThe crown ink has improved. Not not 16, but 256 shades of gray.
The body is thin and sonorous. Made of aluminium-magnesium alloy. Apparently, the body has not changed one iota. Exactly the same dimensions, weight and appearance.
7.8" (188 cm²) E-Ink Carta Plus screen. With dual sensor. Capacitive - for fingers, induction - for stylus (included in the standard package). High resolution, 1404x1872 (300 ppi). MOON Light backlight 2. Protective glass from Asahi.
Memory. 3 GB operational, 32 GB permanent. There seems to be no support for memory cards yet.

Wi-Fi is dual-band. Bluetooth version 5.0. USB Type-C.
Protective case not included. It will have to be purchased separately.
In International Store, Onyx Boox Nova Air 2 will cost $339.99 (₽20900) plus a little more for shipping. (No, there is no delivery to Russia). How much Air 2 will cost us, I don't know yet. But for its ancestor Air1 in the official store now you have to pay ₽33990 ($554).
