Onyx presented two six-inch readers with low-resolution screens - Onyx Boox Volta 4 and Onyx Boox Faust 5.

New items have identical filling, but different appearance and different control buttons. Faust 5 has side buttons for scrolling back and forth and a special "Back" button below the screen.

The Volta 4 does not have such buttons, but it comes with a smart case that connects to the device via pogo contacts. And now it just already has buttons for paging (the technology is called Side Control).

Comes with Faust 5 case �Also put. But, of course, not so smart.

Next. Onyx Boox Volta 4 is an upgrade of Onyx Boox Volta 3 from 2021. The same case, but a new hardware and software platform - a fresh chipset, fresh Android, etc. Similarly, Onyx Boox Faust 5 is exactly the same upgrade of Onyx Boox Faust 4.

To the characteristics.

The screens of the new readers are six inches (111 cm²). Electronic black and white ink E-Ink Carta. The resolution is low, only 758x1024 (212 ppi). Sensor, backlight - it's all there. (Volta 3 had the same screen as the new readers, but Faust 4 dideven stronger, with a resolution of 300 ppi).

Iron. The Onyx chipset brand is traditionally not named. Most likely, it is actively used by them in many recent Qualcomm QCS2290 devices.

Memory has doubled. Now RAM - 2 GB, plus 16 GB of permanent memory. Support for memory cards is available.

Batteries have not changed, still the same 3000 mAh.

Android version jumped from fourth to eleventh immediately.

Section "Other". Instead of Micro-USB, Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth 4.1, we now have Type-C, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 - i.e. everything we love.

How much will new items cost,not clear yet.
