The OPPO F21 Pro series of smartphones was announced in India. The series consists of two devices - actually OPPO F21 Pro, which I will call OPPO F21 Pro 4G for clarity. And OPPO F21 Pro 5G.

OPPO F21 Pro 4G

Both devices have clones sold outside of India. OPPO F21 Pro 4G is like two drops of water similar to OPPO Reno7 4G, and OPPO F21 Pro 5G is clearly made on the same pipeline with OPPO Reno7 Z 5G. The only thing is that the Indians do not seem to have an NFC module. And their brothers from other countries have it.

Chipsets. The F21 Pro 4G has a modest Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, so more than 250thousand points in AnTuTu can not be hoped for. The F21 Pro 5G has a more beefy chipset, Qualcomm Snapdragon 695. With luck, maybe up to 400 thousand points to reach.

OPPO F21 Pro 5G

Memory. The only option. 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage. There is support for memory cards.

AMOLED screens, 6.43" diagonal (exactly 100 cm²). The resolution is high, 1080x2400 (409 ppi). Oddly enough, the refresh rate is higher for a 4G smartphone, 90 Hz versus the standard 60 Hz for the older brother.

The batteries are identical, 4500 mAh. Charges are fast, but without fanaticism - 33 W.

The camera sets are close, but not the sameeveryone. On the back side, both smartphones have a trio of 64 + 2 + 2 MP from the main camera, a macro module and a depth sensor. But if F21 Pro 5G has a trivial macro module, then in F21 Pro 4G put a kind of "microscope". It seems like they promise a thirty-fold increase. However, even if it is so, I can hardly imagine how such microscopes can be used without a tripod.

The front cameras are also different. The F21 Pro 5G has an incomprehensible, but, apparently, trivial 16 MP sensor. And in F21 Pro 4G there is a much more serious and sharpened precisely �To work in front cameras Sony IMX709 with a resolution of as much as 32 MP.

The fingerprint scanners of both devices are built into the screen. Type-C and dual-band Wi-Fi are available. The NFC module is not mentioned, from which we can conclude that it is not here.

And about money.

OPPO F21 Pro 4G will cost ₹22999 (₽24100, $304) at launch.

OPPO F21 Pro 5G slightly more expensive, ₹26999 (₽28300, $357).
