Photo Announcement. Oukitel RT3 - why does a rugged tablet need a macro camera?

Oukitel has unveiled its third rugged tablet, the Oukitel RT3. Unlike the first two, it is compact, eight-inch. Full specifications have not yet been made public. But, in general, everything is more or less known (including the price). So you can get acquainted.

The only thing that is a little confusing is that the advertising pictures (and there are many) do not mention LTE networks in any way. But the support service claims that everything is in order, mobile Internet is available. Well if so.

Protection. Everything is traditional here. All three abbreviations - IP68, IP69K, MIL-STD-810 - in its rightful place. It is mentioned in passing that the tablet can work at "extreme temperatures".

The iron filling is weak. Well-known MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. Those. in AnTuTu we are waiting for around one hundred thousand points.

Memory. 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Support for memory cards, I'm sure there is.

The screen is simple and standard. Diagonal 8" (186 cm²), low resolution 800x1280 (189 ppi). Medium capacity battery - 5150 mAh.

You can hardly expect anything from cameras. 8 MP front, 16 + 0.3 MP rear. What is unusual about the auxiliarycamera is said to be a macro camera. Glitch? Most likely.

Other. I assume that Wi-Fi is dual-band here, and USB is Type-C. But this has not been officially announced.

The page Oukitel RT3 has already appeared on AliExpress. $139.99 (₽9730) at the start of sales, which is scheduled for December 21.
