Formally, the announcement of the Oukitel WP22 smartphone is yet to take place in the slightly distant future. But in fact, the manufacturer has already created a page on AliExpress for him and provided it with a plate with fairly complete characteristics. So it is quite possible to get acquainted.
There is an oddity. Ancient chipset - MediaTek Helio P90 born in 2018. (At that time, very good, in AnTuTu we are waiting for 200-250 thousand points). In those distant times when this chip was created, screens with an increased refresh rate were not yet in vogue. However, for Oukitel WP22 The screen refresh rate is 90 Hz. Typo? I don't know.
The screen, by the way, is quite standard and decent. Diagonal 6.58" (104 cm²), high resolution - 1080x2408 (401 ppi).
Memory. Everything is great here. 8 GB of RAM and as much as 256 GB of storage. Support for memory cards is available (hybrid tray).
The battery is chic - 10000 mAh. There is no information about the charging speed yet, however.
Cameras. It is hardly worth expecting too much from them. 16 MP front, 48+20+2 MP rear. The second camera is night, with infrared illumination.
There is an NFC module and moreforged fingerprint scanner. The pride of Oukitel WP22 is a huge speaker mounted right between the cameras.
Protection? By itself. Traditionally claimed are IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H. There are no details yet, the list of passed tests has not been published.
Of course, a smartphone with similar characteristics cannot be light and thin. Almost 400 grams and 19 mm thick. Dropping on the foot is not recommended.
As I wrote at the very beginning, Oukitel WP22 is already present on AliExpress. But the price of $399.98 (₽33500) set there now seems pretty overpriced to me.Chechen.
