It's hot in India these days, both literally and figuratively. Announcements of smartphones follow one after another. Not all of them, however, are particularly interesting.
Another newcomer is a simple and cheap smartphone Realme C30s.
First, about relatives.
Most of all, the Realme C30s is similar to the Realme Narzo 50i and Realme C11 2021 announced last year, only they do not have a fingerprint scanner and Android of the previous (eleventh) version. Well, the appearance is a little different.
Well, our hero differs from the "namesake" Realme C30 by the chipset - it will be more powerful in that oneetc. Noticeably more powerful.
The chipset here, unfortunately, is an openly weak link, for some reason stubbornly unwilling to go to the dustbin of history. Formally, the brand of the chip is not named by the manufacturers. In fact (and Indian stores confirm this), Unisoc SC9863A 2018 is used here. In AnTuTu, we expect around one hundred thousand points.
Memory. From 2 to 4 GB of operational, from 32 to 64 GB of permanent. In the younger version of 2+32 GB, Android Go Edition is clearly used. What is in the older one is not clear. Theoretically, it may well be a full-fledged Android, but the specifications do not confirm thist.
The screen is simple. Diagonal 6.5" (102 cm²), low resolution 720x1600 (270 ppi), no high refresh rate.
The battery is good, 5000 mAh. But, of course, without fast charging.
Single chambers. 5 MP front and 8 MP rear.
There is no NFC module, no Type-C, no dual-band Wi-Fi either. There is a fingerprint scanner located on the side.
Inexpensive. ₹7499 (₽5640, $93.9) and ₹8999 (₽6770, $113) for the 2+32 and 4+64 GB versions respectively.
