Announcement. Sharp mamorino6 - children's phone for distant Japan

Photo Announcement. Sharp mamorino6 - children

Another children's phone under the beautiful name Sharp mamorino6 has been announced in Japan. Not so long ago I told about ZTE Kids Phone 3. Well, mamorino6 is something similar. Only for another operator - for au.

In the original language, the phone name is written as: マモリーノ シックス). I'm weak in Japanese. And automatic translators don't really help. But, apparently, the word マモリ (mamori) written in katakana is consonant with the word 守り written in hieroglyphs - protection. Which, in general, is logical. And the device is secure. And he has an appointmentCorrespondingly - the protection of children.

The predecessor of mamorino6 was called Kyocera mamorino5 and was released four years ago.

About the characteristics. I suspect that the software filling is something self-written, wound over some of the Androids (perhaps, far from the first freshness). But very specific and without the ability to install some standard software from the application store. Memory frankly a little. 1 GB of operational and only 8 GB of permanent. What kind of iron filling is there is not reported.

Other smartphone features thenfar from luxurious. The battery has a capacity of 1540 mAh. The cameras are single - 2 MP in front and 5 MP in the back. There is support for LTE networks, but no support for 2G and 3G. Old single-band Wi-Fi. There is Type-C.

The screen is more than compact, with a diagonal of 3.4" (32 cm²). The resolution for such dimensions is quite sufficient, 540x960 (324 ppi).

Traditionally for Japan there is protection against water and dust - class IP68. Can be washed with soap, can be wiped with alcohol. Passed the sixteenth MIL-STD-810H test - "Mechanical Shock and Drop".

There is a GPS module. But not in order tothe donkey could use the cards and take it to hell, but in order for the parents to know where their child is.

In the usual sense, there is no Internet access - no browsers. But it is quite possible to send a message to your parents with a photo.

As usual, you can communicate only with people from the white list - an unfamiliar uncle will not call or send messages.

Spy cases. You can listen to what is happening around the child. Or even look through the camera? And so on.

A system of various notifications. What the child came up tomine (turned out to be in the range of the usual Wi-Fi network), that his batteries are about to run out, etc.

The Sharp mamorino6 will go on sale in February. It will cost 22,000 yen (₽11,600, $169).
