Announcement. Teclast P30S - cheap tablet with low resolution screen
Teclast's low-cost tablet collection has been expanded with the Teclast P30S.
About relatives. It's funny here. Judging by the pictures, Teclast P30S is made in the same case and equipped with the same chipset as the Teclast M40 Plus tablet announced a month ago. Another screen for both tablets is the same size (but the resolution is different). Also, the batteries are different, the cameras are different... In short, everything else is different.
And one more semi-relative is Teclast P20S announced at the end of summer. Which, on the contrary, looks like a beginner in everything except appearance / bodyand the chipset.
To the characteristics.
Teclast refers to the chipset used in the tablet as MediaTek MT8183. This chip is also known as MediaTek Kompanio 500 and Helio P60T. (Essentially, MediaTek Kompanio 500 is a tablet-adapted version of the ancient Helio P60 chipset with bitten-off mobile support). In AnTuTu we are waiting for 150-200 thousand points, i.e. even at the average modern level, the tablet does not pull. However, Kompanio 500 is better than the very low-power Helio P22, which is in the Teclast P20S mentioned above.
Memory. Everything is pretty good here.. 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage.
The screen is a standard ten-inch (296 cm²) screen with a very low resolution, only 1280x800 (149 ppi).
The battery is average, 6000 mAh. The cameras are single and very simple. 2 MP front and 5 MP rear.
But there is Type-C and fast dual-band Wi-Fi. Plus, they promise good loud speakers. On the other hand, who doesn't promise them?
