Announcement. Tecno Pova 4 and Tecno Pova 4 Pro - middle class with high-capacity batteries
Tecno announced a couple of their new smartphones today Tecno Pova 4 and Tecno Pova 4 Pro. There hasn't been a Russian announcement yet, but a couple of hours ago I received a press release in my mail saying that it will take place on October 12, i.e. day after tomorrow. Then, I suspect, there will be reviews of new products. At least the oldest of the devices is already in the hands of domestic observers (no, not me).

Smartphones are similar. Screens, charging speed, amount of permanent memory differ. But, in general, both of them are the standard middle class. With capacious batteriesWith rails and without support for 5G networks.
Tecno Pova 4 Pro
Chipset MediaTek Helio G99, so we expect 350-400 thousand points in AnTuTu. Quite solid.
Memory. Both smartphones have 8 GB of RAM. Permanent - 128 GB for the younger and 256 GB for the older. Whether there is support for memory cards is not specified.
Screens. Both have slightly increased (up to 90 Hz) refresh rates. The exact resolution is not called, so I give the estimated value. With the number of vertical dots, I can miss a little. However, hardly much.
Tecno Pova 4 has a larger screen, but it isI eat simple. IPS-matrix with a diagonal of 6.82 "(110 cm²) with a very low resolution of 720x1640 (263 ppi).
Tecno Pova 4 Pro has a 6.66" (105 cm²) AMOLED matrix. And the resolution is much nicer - 1080x2460 (403 ppi).
The batteries are identical. 6000 mAh i.e. 20 percent higher than the average for the hospital. The younger model has slow charging, 18 watts. The older one has a very high-speed one, 45 watts. (They promise that the smartphone will be charged up to half in just 24 minutes).
The sets of cameras on the devices are presumably identical. 8 MP front and 50 MP plus something auxiliary reardi. Nothing can be said about the quality yet. But, judging by the price of smartphones, it is hardly worth waiting for expensive photosensors and cool optics there.
We will find out the prices for Russia, I suspect, the day after tomorrow. And in Bangladesh, the devices will cost 21,990 so (₽13,600, $222) and 26,990 so (₽16,700, $272), respectively.
