You know, the most interesting thing about the announcement of the smartphone Tecno Pova Neo 2 is that this announcement has so far taken place only in Russia. When was the last time a serious international smartphone brand started promoting their new product with you and me? Or is it expected that Pova Neo 2 will not be sold at all in other countries?
In a nutshell - we have a large, but not very fast smartphone with an excellent battery. You can consider it a simplification of last year's smartphone Tecno Pova 2. The chipset and battery are the same, but the screen and cameras areIs it weaker.
One thing I absolutely love about the Tecno Pova Neo 2 is the design. Especially in the version with red on black.
Chipset - MediaTek Helio G85. It can still be considered the middle class, although, according to modern criteria, its productivity is small. AnTuTu will have 200-250 thousand points.
Memory. 4 or 6 GB operational, 64 or 128 GB permanent. Plus, memory cards are supported.
The screen has a diagonal of 6.82" (110 cm²). The resolution is low, only 720x1640 (263 ppi). The refresh rate is slightly higher than the standard - 90 Hz.
The battery is excellent, 7000 mAh. Chargeslightly accelerated - 18 watts. Too bad we don't know how much the smartphone weighs. Excellent batteries - they are usually quite weighty.
The set of cameras is quite simple. The front has a resolution of 8 MP. There are two rear cameras - 16 + 2 MP.
The NFC module is mentioned on the specs page, but not mentioned in the press release. Perhaps he doesn't exist. Don't know. Nothing is said about USB and Wi-Fi. But I think it's still Type-C and Wi-Fi number five. There is a fingerprint scanner - side.
In Russia, the smartphone will be sold in three versions - 4+64, 4+128 and 6+128 GB. JuniorI will cost ₽11990 ($199), the older one - ₽13990 ($233). The cost of the average model was suspiciously silent. Isn't it ₽12990 ($216)?
