Announcement. Tecno Spark Go 2023 - slightly grown budget smartphone
Tecno has announced a budget smartphone Tecno Spark Go 2023 in India.
In general, smartphones called Spark Go have been released once a year since 2019. So this one is already the fifth one.
The first one, Tecno Spark Go 2019, was the smallest - with a 6.1" screen. The next three - Spark Go 2020, Spark Go 2021 and Spark Go 2022 are practically twins. Identical screens, batteries, sets of cameras, amount of memory... Only the appearance is slightly different.
Tecno Spark Go 2021
Tecno Spark Go 2023 is still a little different. The screen has grown from 6.52" (102.6 cm²) to 6.56" (103.4 cm²). Resolution remains HD+ (assumed)But 720x1612, 269 ppi). The refresh rate is standard 60 Hz, but the sensor polling rate is higher - 120 Hz.
The chipset remains the same, MediaTek Helio A22. Those. in AnTuTu we are waiting for a hundred thousand points at best.
Memory. 3 or 4 GB operational, 32 or 64 GB permanent. Compared to 2 + 32 GB for its predecessors, progress is evident.
The battery has not changed - 5000 mAh. Charging speed - 10 W.
The set of cameras is the simplest. 5 MP front, 13 + 0.08 MP rear. Here, by the way, compared to its predecessors, there is even a slight downgrade. For those, the front camera had a resolution of 8 MP.
The ancient Micro-USB has finally been replaced with Type-C. The fingerprint scanner was left on the back. But Wi-Fi suddenly became only single-band (unless, of course, this is not a typo).
The NFC module is not promised. But it is possible that it may appear in versions of the device for other countries.
There is no official information about the cost yet. According to the leaks, the smaller 3+32 GB version will cost ₹6999 (₽5850, $85.1) in India.
For comparison, the predecessor Tecno Spark Go 2022 2+32 GB is now sold in Russia on every corner for ₽5990 ($87.2).
