Vertu, which in ancient times was a subsidiary of Nokia, and now ... Chinese? British? No matter. In short, they revealed to the world their new luxury smartphone called Metavertu. Vertu Metavertu... It's a so-so name for my taste.

It's no secret that Vertu now only makes appearances. Iron is not about them. So Metavertu is based on ZTE Nubia Z40 Pro Gravity Edition. Formally, the devices have only slightly different wired charging speeds - 55 W for Vertu and 66 W for ZTE. The rest of the specifications are identical. (Original Nubia Z40 Pro, which, unlike the Gravity Edition, at least can be found on AliExpress, has a slightly more capacious battery and does not have wireless charging).

The characteristics of the device are top-notch. Let's briefly remind.

Flagship chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. We are waiting for about a million points in AnTuTu. 12 or 18 GB of RAM, 512 GB or 1 GB of permanent memory.

AMOLED screen, 6.67" diagonal, resolution 1080x2400 (395 ppi). Huge refresh rate - up to 144 Hz. The screen, however, is seriously rounded on the sides. Probably, it was more convenient to play.

Curious cameras. Except fromental - it is normal - 16 MP.

There are three cameras on the back. 64+50+8 MP. The main camera, wide-angle and telephoto periscope with a fivefold optical zoom. All but the width are equipped with optical stabilization. Main sensor - Sony IMX787.

The battery is not very capacious, 4600 mAh. But there is high-speed wired charging - 55 watts. And less high-speed wireless - 15 W.

That's what Vertu added from themselves, so it's software. Metavertu is positioned as a crypto smartphone. Some special A5 chip, 10 TB of some IPFS storage, Web 3.0, the ability to create NFT photos, something else.Called Vtalk for secure communications, a crypto wallet and other things I don't understand.
