Vivo today announced a couple of its new Z7 smartphones in China - Vivo iQOO Z7 and Vivo iQOO Z7x. The iQOO Z7 is inexpensive and quite curious at the same time. iQOO Z7x - even cheaper, but trivial. Smartphones have apparently identical screens, but otherwise their characteristics are different. So I spread them on different news. This news is about iQOO Z7. (The Z7 series also includes a little earlier smartphone Vivo iQOO Z7i, but it is quite weak and uninteresting. And don’t confuse ki�A Thai Vivo iQOO Z7 with a smartphone Vivo iQOO Z7 India - they are completely different).

So, iQOO Z7. Moderately inexpensive smartphone with support for 5G networks and with a camera equipped with optical stabilization.

The chipset is fresh and rare, Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G. I don't have performance statistics yet. But I predict 550-600 thousand points in AnTuTu. Those. solid middle class with pretensions.

Memory. A lot of RAM - 8 or 12 GB. Permanent memory - 128 or 256 GB. Support for memory cards is not mentioned. So, most likely, it is not here.

IPS screen, but with highIts refresh rate is up to 120 Hz. Diagonal 6.64" (107 cm²), resolution 1080x2388 (395 ppi).

Standard capacity battery - 5000 mAh. Ultra-fast charging - 120 W.

There are few cameras. 16 MP front, 64+2 MP rear. The main camera, I repeat, with optostabilization. The name of the sensor is not named. But we know which sensor is in Vivo iQOO Z7 India (and there are also 64 MP and OIS). There is Samsung ISOCELL GW3. And if it's the same here, it's not very good. Because the sensor is not large, 1 / 1.97". Yes, and it is a bit old - 2020.

Other. There is a side fingerprint scanner, NFC module, support for 5G networks, sixWi-Fi, Type-C and even standard audio output and IR blaster. But the LTE frequencies are categorically not suitable for us - there is neither the seventh band, nor the twentieth.

The Vivo iQOO Z7 will be inexpensive. ¥1599 (₽17800, $232), ¥1799 (₽20000, $261) and ¥1999 (₽22200, $290) for 8+128, 8+256 and 12+256 GB versions respectively.
