Photo Announcement. Vivo V27 and Vivo V27 Pro are twin smartphones of an interesting middle class

Vivo today announced a trio of V27 series smartphones. Vivo V27, Vivo V27 Pro and Vivo V27e. This news is dedicated to two senior devices of the series. And about the younger one, about Vivo V27e, you can read here. (It is completely different - weaker, smaller, without 5G support, cameras are worse ...)

Vivo V27 and Vivo V27 Pro are solid mid-range smartphones with pretty good cameras. They differ from each other, apparently, only in chipsets. Otherwise, everything is the same, including appearance. Only now the colors of the "proshka" are much smaller - only black and blue.

The Vivo V27 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. Powerful. Almost flagship. In AnTuTu, smartphones with this chip are confidently gaining more than 800 thousand points. The Vivo V27 has a simpler MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chip. And this is his debut, by the way. The chip is also interesting. 4 nm. Focused on the middle class. There are no performance statistics yet, but Vivo promises around 600 thousand points. Those. at the level of Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, which is used in the “classmate smartphone” Xiaomi 13 Lite.

Memory. 8 or 12 GB operational, 128 or 256 GB permanent. Alas and ah, but support tono memory art.

AMOLED screens. Large - 6.78 "(111 cm²). Resolution is normal - 1080x2400 (388 ppi). The refresh rate is high - up to 120 Hz. Another "alas and ah", but unlike the Vivo V27e screen, the screens his relatives are heavily rounded.

Batteries are average, 4600 mAh. Charging is fast - 66 W.

Front cameras. 50 MP with autofocus! The Vivo V27 Pro uses the good old Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with a rather small matrix. (In Vivo V27, most likely, it is the same, we just don’t know about it yet).

There are three rear cameras. 50+8+2 MP. 8 + 2 MP are of little interest to us- unremarkable width and macro. The sensor of the wide-angle camera (according to what they write in the reviews) is OmniVision OV8D1 unknown to science (it is not available on the OmniVision website, it has not been seen in smartphones before).

The main camera is not bad. A fairly large sensor Sony IMX766V, plus there is optical stabilization.

For examples of photos, see GSMArena review. Here, I'll take a couple out of there. The first is the main camera, night mode. The second is, of course, a selfie.

Other. NFC moduleswill, but not in all countries. Fingerprint scanners are, of course, built into the screens. Type-C and dual-band Wi-Fi in place.

The Vivo global website states that Vivo V27 Pro does not have "our" LTE bands - neither seven nor twenty. Which is strange. Perhaps a glitch. Vivo V27 has a much wider range of frequencies and everything you need is there.

About money. I know the prices for India.

For Vivo V27 they want from ₹32999 (₽29900, $399) for the younger version 8+128 GB to ₹36999 (₽33500, $447) for the older version 12+256 GB.

For Vivo V27 Pro they want from ₹37999 (₽34400, $459) for the younger version 8+128 GB to ₹42999 (₽38900, $520) for the older version 12+256 GB.

For Vivo V27 Pro there are already several reviews in English. I hide them under cat.
