Vivo has announced a new simple smartphone. His name is Vivo Y16. The announcement is "global", so the device may appear on sale in many countries, including ours. It will definitely be sold in Vietnam. Where else? Let's see.

The closest relatives, perhaps, include Vivo Y15a sold in the Philippines and Vivo Y15c living in India. A slightly different appearance, the front cameras are slightly different. Even relatives have preserved such an ancient rarity as Micro-USB. Well, the supported LTE frequencies for smartphones are different. The restoh, it seems, everything is identical.

Briefly about the characteristics.
The chipset is a low-powered old man MediaTek Helio P35 (about 100 thousand AnTuTu points).
Memory. 3 or 4 GB operational, from 32 to 128 GB permanent. There is support for memory cards (separate slot).
The screen is large, 6.51" (102 cm²), but the resolution is not high, only 720x1600 (270 ppi). No increased refresh rate is provided.
The battery is capacious, 5000 mAh. Charging by modern standards is slow, only 10 watts.
The cameras are modest. Front camera 5 MP (against 8 MP for relatives). The rear camera is double. SimpleSmall duet 13 + 2 MP - main camera plus macro module.
The fingerprint scanner is located on the side. The NFC module is not observed. Wi-Fi dual band.
I have not found any information about the cost yet. But obviously it shouldn't be expensive.
