Announcement. Vivo Y22 - an inexpensive smartphone with a nice body
Vivo has released another low-cost smartphone. This time he does not have exact "twins". And in general, it's just amazing, but Vivo Y22 is the first Vivo smartphone based on the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset.
In close relatives to Vivo Y22, let's write Vivo Y22s. The case is the same, and the characteristics are close. The main difference in the chipset is that the Y22s uses a slightly more powerful and fresher Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 (an average of 250 thousand points in AnTuTu versus 225 thousand for Helio G85 >). As a result, the second difference Vivo Y22 does not have an increased screen refresh rate - just its chipsetdoes not support.
With memory, everything is rather modest. 4 or 6 GB operational, 64 or 128 GB permanent. There is support for memory cards.
The screen is simple. IPS-matrix with a diagonal of 6.55 "(103 cm²). Low resolution, only 720x1612 (270 ppi).
A good capacious battery with slightly accelerated charging. 5000 mAh and 18 W.
The cameras are hardly outstanding. The front has a resolution of 8 MP. There are two rear cameras, 50 + 2 MP - main and macro.
NFC-module and gyroscope are missing. There is a side fingerprint scanner, Type-C and dual-band Wi-Fi.
I already see a smartphone on sale in �Indonesia. They want 2,399,000 rupees (₽9,690, $161) for it for the younger version, the 4+64 GB version. Apparently, in the near future Vivo Y22 will be sold in India.
