3. Announcement. Vivo Y77e (t1 version) - a bit more confusion

Vivo continues to play with the names of smartphones and produce duplicates. Well... almost duplicates.

• In July, Vivo Y77 5G Global (not to be confused with Vivo Y77 5G China) smartphone with 50+2 / 16 MP cameras is found in Malaysia.
• In August (a week ago), Vivo Y77e 5G smartphone with 13+2 / 8 MP cameras appears in China. Plus, the Chinese have more versions with different amounts of memory.
• And right now there is a smartphone Vivo Y77e (t1 version) 5G (original name spelled Vivo Y77e（t1版）) with 50+2 / 8 MP cameras in the same place in China.

Colors and frequencies are slightly different.Shells are different. OriginOS Ocean for the "Chinese" and Funtouch OS for the "Malaysian". But the rest of the devices are identical. I think that a version with 13+2 / 16 MP cameras should also be released in Malaysia. So. For complete symmetry.

Repetition is the mother of learning. About the characteristics.

Chipset MediaTek Dimensity 810, in AnTuTu we expect around 350 thousand points. Typical modern middle class no frills.

Memory was spared. 8 GB operational, 256 GB permanent. There is support for memory cards.

The screen is quite standard by today's standards. Diagonal 6.58" (104 cm²), resolution 1080x2408 (401 ppi). No increased refresh rate.

The battery is good, 5000 mAh. Slightly accelerated charging - 18 W.

And the cameras. The front has a resolution of only 8 MP. There are two rear cameras - 50 + 2 MP.

There is no NFC module. Side fingerprint scanner. Type-C and a fifth Wi-Fi, of course, are also available.

Vivo Y77e (t1 version) 5G will cost ¥1799 (₽15900, $265). Oddly enough, this is exactly the same as the cost of Vivo Y77e 5G with the same amount of memory. What's the catch? I dont know. Maybe they don't put the charger in the box?
