Xiaomi today announced a couple of powerful smartphones with serious cameras - Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro. The couple are in many ways close in their characteristics (even the color sets are identical), so I will not spread them on two different news.
Xiaomi 12T
Iron.
Xiaomi 12T Pro is powered by the top Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, i.e. in AnTuTu we are waiting for a million parrots. Xiaomi 12T got something called MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra. Apparently, this is a modification of the original Dimensity 8100 chipset tailored to the needs of Xiaomi (similar to Dimensity 8100-Max - a similar modification of the same chip for OPPO and related brands). In AnTuTu we are waiting for 700-800 thousand points. Those. the chipset, of course, is weaker than that of the firmware, but still more than serious.
Now let's digress from the characteristics for a second and say a few words about one close relative.
As you may remember, Xiaomi announced the Redmi K50 Ultra smartphone in China in August. So. The Redmi K50 Ultra is a fun combination of two of today's smartphones. The chipset is taken from the older one - i.e. there is also a top Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Xiaomi 12T Pro
The screens, as far as can be judged from official data, are the same for smartphones. Huge AMOLEDs, 6.67" (107 cm²) diagonal, high resolution 1220x2712 (446 ppi), refresh rate up to 120 Hz. Cherry on the cake - twelve-bit color.
Standard capacity battery, 5000 mAh. Charging is obscenely fast - 120 W.
Cameras. Xiaomi 12T doesn't have a very impressive set of cameras. Although there is optical stabilization, dand the resolution is super high. But happiness is not in megapixels, we already know. The front camera has a resolution of 20 MP (sensor Sony IMX596). There are three rear cameras - 108 + 8 + 2 MP - a standard set, where in addition to the main module there are wide-angle and macro. (The main sensor is a midrange Samsung ISOCELL HM6).
The Xiaomi 12T Pro has almost the same set of cameras, with one exception. The main sensor has an insane 200 MP resolution. Yes, this is Samsung ISOCELL HP1, our Xiaomi is already the fourth smartphone where it is used (in addition to Xiaomi, there are two Motorolas and one Infinix).
Other. There is support for 5G networks, NFC modules, a sixth Wi-Fi, IR blasters, fingerprint scanners built into the screen. No support for memory cards and standard audio outputs.
