Xiaomi today announced a pair of flagship smartphones in its native China Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro.

Briefly. Smartphones have the same hardware and memory. Both are IP68 water and dust resistant. "Proshka" is slightly larger, with a more serious screen and cameras. More expensive, of course.

So. Xiaomi 13.

The chipset is a brand new top Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Those. in AnTuTu we are waiting deep for a million parrots. 8 or 12 GB RAMand LPDDR5X. 128GB to 512GB UFS 4.0 persistent storage. Support for memory cards, of course, no.

The screen has grown from 6.28" (95 cm²) to 6.36" (98 cm²) compared to its predecessor Xiaomi 12. The resolution for such a diagonal is tall, 1080x2400 (414 ppi). The brightness is outrageous - up to 1200 nits maximum (and up to 1900 nits peak). Refresh rate - up to 120 Hz. Not LTPO, i.e. we cannot dynamically adjust the frequency.

Battery capacity is typically average, 4500 mAh. The charging speed is huge, though not a record - 67 watts. You can’t call wireless charging slow either - 50 W direct (and 10 Wtnaya).

The front camera has a resolution of 32 MP.

There are three rear cameras, a classic trio of main, wide-angle and telephoto.

• 54 MP is the main camera. Four megapixels are "not used", ie. the resolution remains 50 MP. The sensor is Sony IMX800, which was previously used only in a few smartphones from Honor. Large matrix, large pixels. There is optical stabilization.
• 10 MP - telephoto, also with optical stabilization. In the news they write about a three-fold zoom.
• 12 MP is a standard wide-angle camera.

Other. Everything is expectedemo. There is an NFC module, support for 5G networks, Type-C, a sixth Wi-Fi and even an IR blaster. The fingerprint scanner is located under the screen.

With the support of "our" LTE bands, everything is bad - there is neither the seventh nor the twentieth (Xiaomi 13 Pro has at least Band 7).

And about money.

¥3999 (₽35800, $575), ¥4299 (₽38500, $618), ¥4599 (₽41200, $661) and ¥4999 (₽44800, $718) for versions 8+128, 8+256, 12+ 256 and 12+512 GB respectively. (Xiaomi 13 Pro ¥1000-¥1300 more expensive).

Xiaomi 13 has already appeared on AliExpress (one, two). Here the prices are somewhat less humane. $789 (₽54400), $859 (₽59300), $919 (₽63400) and $999 (₽68900) respectivelyIndeed.
