Xiaomi held a big "global" announcement of its thirteenth series today. This news is about the newcomer to the series, about the smartphone Xiaomi 13 Lite.

In terms of its characteristics, the Xiaomi 13 Lite is very similar to the Xiaomi Civi 2 smartphone sold in China, only it has more interesting auxiliary cameras. But there is no LTE Band 20, which is so necessary for global people.

The chipset is fresh Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. In AnTuTu, we expect around 550 thousand points - i.e. before us is not just a middle-class smartphone, but a solid middle-class smartphonea.

Memory. 8 GB operational, 128 or 256 GB permanent. Support for memory cards is not observed. (Civi 2 has an additional 12+256 GB variant).

Battery capacity is average, 4500 mAh. The charging speed is more than solid - 67 W.

Screen. AMOLED-matrix with a diagonal of 6.55 "(104 cm²). Standard resolution 1080x2400 (402 ppi). High refresh rate - up to 120 Hz. At the top of the screen, alas, we see a healthy cutout for the dual front camera.

Yes, double front camera - 32 + 8 MP. Moreover, the second module is suddenly a depth sensor. Civi 2, fro�The rear camera is also double, but 32 + 32 MP and the second module is wide-angle, which is much more meaningful.

There are three rear cameras in Xiaomi 13 Lite, 50+8+2 MP. Main, wide-angle, macro. What's nice, the main camera sensor is a very solid (albeit not the most recent) Sony IMX766. What is less pleasant, there is no optical image stabilization. (Civi 2 has a similar set of cameras, only the width is more impressive - 20 MP).

Other. NFC will be, but not in all markets. There is no standard audio output. The fingerprint scanner is hidden under the screen. There is a sixth Wi-Fi, an IR blaster and Type-C.

About sad things, about prices. Xiaomi 13 Lite is already present on AliExpress (although for some reason the Russian version of the site says "Everything has already been taken apart"). $449 (₽35,000) and $499 (₽38,900) for 8+128 and 8+256 GB versions.

For comparison, in China Xiaomi Civi 2 with the same amount of memory can be purchased for ¥2399 (₽26000, $348) and ¥2499 (₽27100, $363) respectively. Feel the difference.
