Announcement. ZTE Libero 5G III - mid-range with a modest battery for Japan
ZTE has announced a smartphone called ZTE Libero 5G III in the Land of the Rising Sun. The device is intended for the Japanese operator Y!Mobile. The probability of appearing outside of Japan (at least under the same name) is approximately zero.
ZTE Libero 5G III is a light update of ZTE Libero 5G II announced a year ago. We changed the screen from IPS to OLED (and placed a fingerprint scanner in it). The battery was slightly increased - from a very modest 3900 mAh to a slightly more decent, but still modest 4120 mAh. The cameras have deteriorated a bit.
Che�The set remains the same - the well-known MediaTek Dimensity 700. Those. in AnTuTu we expect 300-350 thousand points. Memory for 2022 is already not enough - it, as it was, is only 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory.
The screen is large, with a diagonal of 6.67" (107 cm²) and a resolution of 1080x2400 (395 ppi). No increased refresh rate.
The set of cameras is quite modest. 8 MP front, 13+2+2 MP rear. The predecessor at least had a wide-angle camera. But then for some reason they decided to replace it with a macro.
There is an NFC module, Type-C, dual-band Wi-Fi. The supported LTE frequencies are categorically alien to us.
Traditionally for Japan there is protection against water and dust according to the class IP57.
On sale from December 15th. There is no information about the cost yet.
