Photo belated. Doogee S100 is an impressive armored smartphone with wireless charging, a night camera and a huge amount of memory

The first information about smartphones Doogee S100 and/or Doogee S100 Pro appeared quite a long time ago. And I could not understand its original source. Those. people publish news, but do not refer to anything. Yes, there has been some confusion. Some wrote about one smartphone, others about the other, but no one wrote about both at once. At the same time, for some reason, the "firmware" turned out to have less memory ...

The official announcement, by the way, has not yet happened. However, the Doogee S100 has finally showed up in Doogee's AliExpress brand store. So painmost of the information can be considered quite reliable with a good degree of accuracy.

So. Before us is an overall smartphone-armored car with decent hardware, a very large amount of memory, a high-speed screen, a night camera and a very capacious battery.

In order.

With protection, everything is traditional. IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H promised. A complete list of passed tests is not given, but it is noted that Doogee S100 can work at temperatures from -55 to +70 degrees. Those. it is already possible to go to the North Pole, but it is not yet possible to go to the bathhouse. Additionally noted

Iron is well known to everyone. MediaTek Helio G99. Which means that the smartphone does not support 5G networks, but there is performance that is quite consistent with the middle class. In AnTuTu, we expect around 350 thousand points.

Suddenly not just a lot of memory, but a lot of memory. 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. There is support for memory cards, but the tray is hybrid.

The screen surprised with an ultra-high refresh rate - up to 120 Hz. It seems to be not the most necessary thing for armored cars, but on thisbe. Everything else is pretty standard. IPS-matrix with a diagonal of 6.58 "(104 cm²). Resolution is high, 1080x2408 (401 ppi).

The battery is huge, as much as 10800 mAh. Charging is fast almost obscenely - 66 watts. Suddenly there is also wireless charging (15W). With all this in mind, the smartphone should clearly be heavy as a brick, but information about its weight has not yet been published. Probably shy.

Cameras. 32 MP front, 108+20+16 MP rear.

  • 108 MP - the main camera on the Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor. A solid sensor for mid-range devices. We love Xiaomi.
  • 20 MP - nightcamera with infrared illumination. The traditional Sony IMX350 sensor for such cameras.
  • 16 MP is a wide-angle camera that can also work as a macro camera.

Other. There is an NFC module, a side fingerprint scanner, Type-C and dual-band Wi-Fi. They promise good stereo sound. Apparently, there is no standard audio output.

How much Doogee S100 will cost is still unclear. AliExpress now listed "stub" in the amount of $999.99 (₽81900). But they are, of course, joking. We are waiting.
