Photo belated. Huawei Mate X3 - an expensive smartphone tablet

Simultaneously with the traditional top smartphones from the P60 series, Huawei also announced its next smartphone with a flexible screen called Huawei Mate X3.

The

Mate X3 is built on the same platform as the P60 series smartphones, ie. also uses last year's flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. And, like his colleagues in misfortune, he is also deprived of support for 5G networks, because of the sanctions.

Permanent memory from 256 GB to 1 TB. There is support for memory cards - but not Micro-SD, but branded NM-Card. Official information about the amount of RAM Idid not see something. But everyone more or less unanimously writes about 12 GB, which looks plausible.

Everything is traditional with screens. There are two of them.

1. "Tablet" - large, almost square, flexible. 7.85" diagonal (197 cm²). OLED matrix with refresh rate up to 120 Hz. High resolution - 2224x2496 (426 ppi).

2. "Smartphone". It is smaller, of course (twice, if you count by area). It has a diagonal of only 6.4 "(96 cm²). The matrix is also OLED, but, unlike the large screen, this screen is LTPO, i.e. with a dynamic refresh rate in the range of 1-120 Hz. The resolution is 1080x2504, which gives Exactly the same dpi as the first screen.

Medium capacity battery, 4800 mAh. Charging is fast - 66 watts. There is also wireless charging - 50 W.

An impressive set of rear cameras. 50 + 13 + 12 MP - the main camera, wide-angle and telephoto periscope with a fivefold increase. Only the telephoto has optical stabilization.

Frontalok two pieces, one for each of the screens. Both have a very modest resolution - only 8 MP.

The Huawei Mate X3 on HarmonyOS will go on sale in China. Outside of China, a variation on EMUI 1 will be sold3.1.

Of the interesting things, it is also worth noting the protection against water - but not against dust - IPX8.

Other. Side fingerprint scanner. There is an NFC module, a sixth Wi-Fi.

And about money. I want money very much, so the prices here are biting. ¥12,999 (₽145,000, $1,900), ¥13,999 (₽156,000, $2,050) and ¥15,999 (₽179,000, $2,340) for 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage respectively.
