Moto X30 Pro is the world's first smartphone with a Samsung ISOCELL HP1 photo sensor with a record resolution - as much as 200 MP. This sensor was announced last fall. But, as you can see, we had to wait almost a year for his real appearance in the flesh.
What to expect from Samsung ISOCELL HP1 is not very clear to me personally. Well, yes, the sensor is very rather big, 1/1.22". But it’s a no brainer that few people will take pictures at all 200 MP (hosuch a regime, it seems, is). The main shooting mode, if I understand correctly, is with a grouping of 16 pixels into one, i.e. the resolution will be trivial, 12.5 MP.
This is confusing. Moto X30 Pro is a pretty sophisticated device. Flagship chipset, serious screen, ultra-fast charging, impressive set of cameras. But at the same time, his price is quite humane. So I have a big suspicion that this 200-megapixel sensor is not particularly expensive. And, most likely, stunning success in the field of photos from a smartphone is expected.� accounted for.
