3. On sale. Vivo Y35 for Russia - with slow charging and minimal memory

The Vivo Y35 4G smartphone was announced in early August. Good mid-range with fast charging and very different amounts of memory - from 4 + 64 GB to 8 + 256 GB.

Now, a few days before the beginning of autumn, the smartphone has reached Russia. And I have two news for you. And both are so-so.

• Only the lower versions, 4+64 and 4+128 GB, are expected to be on sale.
• Suddenly for us, charging was slowed down. If in all other countries its speed is 44 watts, then we have only 18 watts. It is not customary to call such a fast one now.

I will briefly repeat about the characteristics.

Chipset - Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. Not very powerful and without support for 5G networks. We are waiting for about 250 thousand points in AnTuTu.

I already mentioned the amount of memory. Support for memory cards is available.

The screen is moderately serious. Diagonal 6.58" (104 cm²), resolution 1080x2408 (401 ppi). Refresh rate up to 90 Hz.

The battery is in order. The capacity is large, 5000 mAh. About charging speed - see above, only 18 W.

Cameras are unlikely to please much. There is not even a wide-angle module. The front camera has a resolution of 16 MP. From the rear there is a classic budget trio 50 + 2 + 2 MP - main camera, poppyrock camera, depth sensor.

NFC-module is not available in all markets, but we have it. Wi-Fi dual band. Type-C and standard audio output are available. The fingerprint scanner is in the classic right place, i.e. combined with the power button.

I see the page of the younger version Vivo Y35 (4+64 GB) on the website of the DNS store. Price - ₽17999 ($301). Arrival in stores is expected on September 6.

(Hmm. In the store, by the way, the "international" charging speed is indicated - 44 watts).
