Oukitel has officially unveiled its next armored smartphone. Getting to know Oukitel WP21.
There is no full detailed specification yet. But all the basic information (including even the price) is already available.
A curious smartphone. Support for 5G networks, however, no. But we love smartphones not only for this. But with everything else ... Perhaps, the order.
The main feature of the smartphone is an additional round screen on the back, in the middle of the cameras. The characteristics of this second screen, however, have not yet been announced. But they promise Always On. In theory, this should meanthat the small screen is OLED. What can be displayed on it? Clock, notifications, information about the current call. Apparently, this screen can also be used to take selfies on the main camera.
Protection. Everything is traditional here. They promise IP68, IP69K, MIL-STD-810. They remember Siberia with a kind word - they say, it will survive in the local climatic conditions.
The chipset is a modern classic MediaTek Helio G99. Those. in AnTuTu we are waiting for 400 thousand points.
Not just a lot of memory, but a lot. 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Memory card support is also available
The main screen is large and relatively trivial. Diagonal 6.78" (109 cm²), good resolution 1080x2460 (396 ppi), high refresh rate - up to 120 Hz.
The battery can be safely called double - its capacity is as much as 9800 mAh. Moreover, charging is fast to obscene - 66 watts. Obviously, the smartphone will not be a fluff. But there is no information about its weight and dimensions yet.
Cameras. The resolution of the front camera has not yet been reported to us. There are three rear cameras - 64 + 20 + 2 MP. The main camera has a rather old Sony IMX686 sensor. The second camera is night, with infrared� backlit.
Other. There is an NFC module, Type-C, dual-band Wi-Fi. The fingerprint scanner is not mentioned. But I suspect that it exists and is located on the side.
And about the price. The Oukitel WP21 page has already appeared on AliExpress. Pay no attention to the current price. Pay attention to the banner. At the start of sales (November 24), the smartphone will be available for $280.99 (₽18800).
