Ulefone has announced the announcement of its new armored smartphone Ulefone Power Armor 18T. Because Since this is not a full-fledged announcement yet, we still don’t know something about the characteristics of this miracle monster. But everything is already known. So it's time to get acquainted.
Power Armor 18T is definitely a secure smartphone, which is clearly hinted at by the word "Armor" in its name. Formally, the protection class has not yet been announced. In fact, no one doubts that we will once again draw a standard set of abbreviations - IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810. Well, the word "Power" in the title speaks of a capacious battery. 9600 mAh, i.e. about twice as much as the average modern smartphone. Wired charging is obscenely fast - 66 watts. There is also wireless charging, but it is slower - 15 W.
It is clear that a smartphone with such a battery and with "armor" cannot be easy. But they decided not to tell us the weight and dimensions yet.
The iron filling, for a change, is more than solid. And then all the previous creations of Ulefone in thisyear were dull to the point of obscenity. They immediately became generous with the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, which means both support for 5G networks and decent performance - 400-450 thousand points in AnTuTu, or even more.
Memory was not spared either. 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Is there a place to put a memory card, it is not yet clear.
And the screen is solid. Large - 6.58" (104 cm²). High resolution - 1080x2408 (401 ppi). And even the refresh rate is up to 120 Hz.
Cameras. There are still dark spots on this part of the map.
The front camera seems to have a resolution of 32 MP.
There are three rear cameraspieces. The main one has a high resolution of 108 MP. But what kind of sensor is there, we do not know. What the second camera is is not clear at all. The third camera is thermal (not to be confused with night). Its resolution is low, 160x120 (0.02 MP), but this is the norm for such cameras. (The thermal image is always superimposed on a picture taken with a normal high resolution camera).
Other. There is an NFC module, Type-C, dual-band Wi-Fi and a side fingerprint scanner.
