Semi-announcement. Unihertz Ticktock S - still the same two screens and support for 5G networks
Unihertz has decided to expand the range of its TikToks and is preparing to announce a smartphone called Unihertz Ticktock S. There has been no official news and solemn speeches yet, but the smartphone page has already managed to appear in the Unigerts brand store on AliExpress. Characteristics, however, a little incomplete. But all the main things have been said and it is already possible to form an idea about the apparatus. Too bad there aren't enough pictures. Tik-Toks - why are they interesting? Both previous models, Unihertz TickTock and TickTock-E have twocrane. Standard rectangular in front and small round, like a watch, in the back. Here, take a look at the first Tik-Tok.
Unihertz TickTock
Fortunately, the brand new Unihertz Ticktock S has already managed to get to one of the video bloggers and we can admire his #short video. And yes, there are also two screens.
In fact, Unihertz TickTock S and Unihertz TickTock have a lot in common. I will compare them as I go along. (Let's take TickTock-E out of brackets, it's weak and uninteresting).
So.
The front screens are close in size (Yeah! I managed to misspell three typos in the word size!) 6.53" (105 cm²) in the newcomer versus 6.5" in his ancestor. Those. the difference is purely formal. The teardrop-shaped notch for the camera has disappeared, instead of it there is now a small circle in the corner. The resolution has not changed, 1080x2340 (395 ppi). No increased refresh rate.
There is no information about the size and resolution of the round screen yet. The old TickTock had 1.3" (277 ppi).
The hardware hasn't changed. The well-known MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset (300-350 thousand points in AnTuTu).
The amount of RAM is as solid as it was - 8 GB. (Like the newly announced Galaxy S23, ha-Ha). Permanent memory doubled - up to 256 GB. Is there a place to put a memory card, not reported.
Battery capacity has slightly decreased - from 6000 mAh to 5200 mAh. The charging speed has not changed - 30 W.
The cameras have been upgraded. It was 8 MP in the front and 48 MP in the back, it became 32 MP in the front and 64 MP in the back.
There is an NFC module, Type-C, dual-band Wi-Fi. The fingerprint scanner is not mentioned, but where would it be without it?.. Like its ancestor, it has protection against water and dust according to the class IP68.
About money. Now on AliExpress for Unihertz Ticktock-S listed price is $599.98 (₽46700). But this is clearlyth bust. At the time of the official start of sales (February 13), it should obviously fall. Somewhere around $350 (₽27300), I guess.
