25 Killed, Thirteen Injured in Attack on Bus in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor Province, State Media Reports

According to SANA News the assault occurred at about 4pm native time. The media outlet didn’t specify different circumstances of the incident, which it dubbed “a terrorist attack”.

Some 25 civilians have been killed and 13 others injured after a bus was attacked on the M20 freeway in the Deir ez-Zor province of Syria, SANA News reported on Wednesday.

The assault reportedly passed off close to the city of Kobajjep. The SANA correspondent earlier stated that the dying toll was 28 and the quantity of injured eight. 

The images allegedly depicting the incident have emerged on Twitter in which the destroyed car is seen engulfed in flames.

Syria has been torn by civil struggle since 2011. After six years of strife, the federal government introduced it defeated (*25*)*, but the military nonetheless continues to conduct anti-terrorist operations in some areas. However, at current Syria is especially targeted on the problems of the political settlement, the rebuilding of the nation and the return of refugees.
