In February, the peer-reviewed medical journal, The Lancet, revealed an interim evaluation from the Phase III scientific trials of the Russian vaccine, exhibiting its 91.6-percent efficacy in opposition to symptomatic COVID-19.
Developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, Sputnik V grew to become the world’s first officially-registered vaccine in opposition to COVID-19.
