TEHRAN (Sputnik) – Iranian rescuers are looking out for six crew members of an Iranian vessel that capsized in the Strait of Hormuz a number of days in the past, and one of them was already confirmed lifeless, the Iranian Ports and Maritime Organisation for Hormozgan province mentioned on Monday.
The vessel, which carried seven individuals – six Iranian residents and one Indian citizen – capsized to the southeast of Larak Island. The incident occurred whereas the vessel was heading to the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas from the Omani port of Shinas. The causes of the incident are being investigated.
The incident passed off on 25 December.
