MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Howard X, a renown impersonator of North Korean chief Kim Jong-un, stated on Wednesday that he had been arrested by Hong Kong police over costs of unlawful possession of firearms.
“I was arrested by the HK police at my home on Oct 28th 2020. They had a warrant to search my home because according to them, a BB gun had been posted to my address in April 2020 to which I never actually received,” the comic stated in a press release posted on his Facebook account.
According to the assertion, 10 Hong Kong cops raided his condo and arrested the impersonator over possession of a firearm with out license.
The actor suspected that his arrest was politically motivated due to his look at and open help for the pro-democracy protests within the metropolis final 12 months.
Although he was launched after paying for bail, the actor was required to report again to the Hong Kong police each six weeks.
